Town-home
 Owners Insurance

Every year your home insurer sends you a reminder and a bill to renew your home owners insurance. Each town home owner is required to provide a certificate of insurance or a copy of the Declaration page of the Homeowners policy each time you renew your insurance, or purchase it from another provider. The evidence of coverage should be mailed each year upon renewal to: Glenbrook Homes Association, Attn: Secretary, 7901 Vane St, Omaha, NE 68122.

Alternatively, save yourself some time and a stamp and ask your insurance agent to send certificate of insurance or a copy of the Declaration page of the Homeowners policy to us directly. It is usually a free service provided by insurance companies.

Important Reminder to GHA Town-home Owners

A reminder to all Woodgate (Glenbrook Town-home) owners: Glenbrook Homes Association is responsible for repairs and maintenance of exterior surfaces of the town-home buildings. This includes siding, roofs, and painting. There are other provisions wherein GHA shares responsibility outlined in the Glenbrook Homes Association Rules and Regulations of 2017. Every year, the GHA Board of Directors puts together a budget allocating funds raised from the monthly dues to pay for such maintenance and repairs. It is extremely important, therefore, that all such maintenance and repair projects be under the control of the Board of Directors to insure that funds will be available.

All residents of Woodgate (GHA Town-homes) must get approval for all repairs and maintenance from the board of directors to 1) make sure the repairs and maintenance is needed, 2) make sure all maintenance and repair meet the GHA standards, 3) make sure any and all contractors are licensed and insured, 4) make sure the money is available.

Keep in mind, that any work that is not approved by the GHA Board of Directors will not be funded by the GHA. All liability for repairs (or damage incurred as a result of unapproved maintenance or repairs) done without prior approval of the GHA Board of Directors, will belong to the home owner.
