The Board of Directors has enjoyed watching all the children in their costumes, playing games, bobbing for apples and enjoying the food that members donated every year at the annual Halloween Party.
That being said, the Board has decided to not have the Halloween party this year due to the ongoing pandemic issues within the City of Omaha. The School Board moved from the 3-2 plan to 100% remote, so we don't feel that it would be appropriate to exposure the children of Glenbrook to COVID 19. Even if everyone was wearing a mask, as is mandated in the City of Omaha, it would be difficult to maintain the 6 foot distancing mandate. The Board of Directors regrets having to make this decision, but our decision is based on keeping all our members as safe as possible. Hopefully, this will be all behind us by this time next year.
